Rebecca has been a long time AFM teen volunteer. She plans to attend Vanderbilt and study Human/Organizational Development, with a focus on Community Leadership and Development.
Steven has also been a strong AFM volunteer. He plans to attend Framingham State University and study Environmental Studies and Sustainability.
As part of our core mission to build community and improve public health through education about diet, nutrition, farming and sustainable living, Ashland Healthy Harvest, Inc. (aka Ashland Farmers Market) is pleased to announce its 2 scholarship opportunities.
Amount: Two $1,000 awards.
Guidelines: The Ashland Healthy Harvest, Inc. Scholarship program will provide funding for 2 graduating Ashland High School seniors (or recent graduates) beginning studies in 2021 at an accredited institution. Field of studies must be in line with the mission of the AFM including (but not limited to): agriculture, nutritional science, environmental science, and community development.
Preference will be shown to students who have a history of
volunteering at the AFM.
