Market Day (7/16): Culture Fest

Today we are celebrating all of the wonderful cultures and diversity in Ashland!

• Henna tattoos at the Kid’s Corner at 9:30 —for adults and kids
• Arts! Ashland Alliance Music Stage hosting local young people performing international music and dance:
  10:15-10:45 : Indian dancers
  11:00 : Bon Me starts serving lunch
  11:00- 12:00 : Jorbley DeSouza, a talented singer/guitarist from Brazil (who also happens to work at our neighboring Needham Bank)
  12:15- 12:45 : Thai Dancers from The Thai Buddhist Sunday School of Wat Nawamintatararachutis

• Bon Me Food Truck will join us, offering their bold, fresh and fun Asian cuisine. Their most popular item is inspired by the banh mi Vietnamese sandwich (pictured above). Well-known around Boston and Cambridge, they offer rice bowls, noodle salads, and sandwiches.  Foodie Cafe will be on hand for breakfast and lunch, including his sell-out BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Mohamed at the Kabob House will offer a mix of his popular Greek, Egyptian and Indian favorites.
•  Join us in a scavenger hunt to find foods inspired by ten different countries.
