It’s Game Day!
Make Your Own Game at the Kid’s Corner with game-creator Robert Seater from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Join the Chess Corner to learn or improve your chess game. Ashland resident and chess teacher Srini Ambati will provide an opportunity to learn and play chess at the market. With 6 chess boards and a few helpers, Srini will give a group lesson at 10 AM and again at noon on the advantages of playing chess and the basics of the board game. The goal is to teach kids basics, keep them interested and guide them to continue at whatever their level. Experienced players can play games against one another. He says chess is for all age children and adults who can understand how to play.
Ashland Greater Lions will be at the Community Table.
Potter and instructor Deb Griffin will demonstrate how she makes functional, lovingly hand-crafted pottery.
