A Simple Twist
A Simple Twist focuses on handmade crafts for both beauty and entertainment, made by local creator Katherine Mendyk. She creates handmade necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings and more using hemp macrame, stones and glass, as well as pieces from “old” or recycled jewelry, bringing a new light to once forgotten artifacts. She also focuses on handmade hula hoops, perfect for fun or exercise. They range in size and weight, and each color pattern is unique. Also, most hoops at A Simple Twist are collapsible, which makes storage and transportation a piece of cake.

The jewelry involves cutting meaningful designs with a jeweler’s saw into coins or tableware. Some of the jewelry is made from fine silver with colorful enamels. John designs and executes these pieces, and will demonstrate on site.
