The 22nd annual National Farmers Market Week will be celebrated at the Ashland Farmers Market on Saturday, August 7th. National Farmers Market Week highlights the essential role farmers markets play in the nation’s food system. MDAR Commissioner John Lebeaux, State Senate President Karen Spilka, State Senator Becca Rausch, Ashland Town Manager Michael Herbert, and members of Ashland’s Select Board will gather at 9:15 AM to honor the resilience and reliability of our local food vendors who have brought healthy, fresh produce and products to the Ashland community.We invite you to celebrate with us from 9:15 to 10:15 AM when our state dignitaries visit and tour our market. We appreciate your generous support that has helped make our market successful.
Don’t miss a morning of Backgammon from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. All levels of players are welcome. If you have never played, this is your opportunity to learn this enjoyable, simple to learn game of skill, strategy, and chance. If you have a board, please bring it. Several will be available.
