On Saturday 8/8, the Kids’ Corner welcomes Jim of Putts and More miniature golf course on the border between Ashland and Holliston on Route 126. Jim says, “Each one who tries will receive a card which gives everyone in their group a discounted rate for a round of mini golf at Putts & More this year. There are also prizes for the free ice cream and free golf for putting into targets.”
What strikes us about this family-friendly miniature golf course is how it got started.
A Boston Globe article from June 25, 2014 reported that “Four area nonprofits will assign people to work at the course: Price Center in Newton, which works with disabled children, Accept Educational Collaborative in Natick, which helps people ages 18-22 who need extra schooling; Milford Community Use Program, which offers extra-curricular activities for all ages; and Crossroads School in Natick, which works with autistic children.”
